2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
[little bottle bought in Villard de Lans, France]
Sweetish aroma with some hops and notes of spice and rancid leaves. Clear gold with a white blanket that quickly descends into a thin cover. Flavour is quite bland and acidy, like a bit too much sugar was added, but the fermentation did not contribute enough flavovur (e.g., too cold). Very little bitterness, but a sourness that lingers in the throat. Medium carbonation, light body, a few sweet tingles.

0.25 l bottle, thanks Doggythedog for sharing it! Poured pale golden body with quite small white head. Fine, typical Belgian ale aroma, yeasty, with some fruits (banana, ananas) mixed with spices, but not really intensive, at contrary. Sourish flavor, quite nice and letís say full, but still nothing special, what should be expected from this style. Also finish is very ordinary and left me pretty indifferent. Quite poorly made Belgian ale, although really fine beer.

Iím not sure i drank the same beer, but it was called "abbaye de dieleghem".
Bottle. Some apple, fruity, very acid, sugar, no bitterness, a bit watery. Not so bad but a bit disgusting.
