Lightly scented aroma followed by a subtly bitter taste. It leaves a subtle raisin fruitiness on the palate ending with a pleasant bitter tonic when swallowing.

Bottle 33cl. Hazy golden color, large frothy white head, good retention and lacing; fresh aroma, grain, white fruit, yeast, ginger, lemon grass; taste is medium sweet and bitter, fruity, spicy, mineralic notes; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, aftertaste dry bitter, spicy notes; not bad but especially the strong dry bitter finish gives this Blond a rather neutral feel.

ForlornHope (408) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2015
Bottle at home. Gusher on opening, so some wasted. Cloudy blonde with a massive head, which then disappeared. Aroma is sour, almost off. Being generous, it has lots of funky, vegetable notes. Taste is sweet to start with a little balancing bitterness. Bready flavour with some sherry notes, also vanilla in the end taste. Not great.

0.33l pullo, BBE 12-06-2015. Todella runsas hutera vaahto, kuohuu jatkuvasti yli. Sameahkon kellertävä lagerin väri, ummehtunut hiilihappoinen vienon makea tuoksu. Raikkaahko suutuntuma, mieto alkoholi ja sitrus suutuntumassa, kolamainen raikkaus jälkimaussa. Ihan ok.

pityu (681) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 24, 2015
Bottled - Sweet bready malt and some floral hop aromas. A bit hazy golden colour with a thick, but quickly disappearing white head. Malty sweetness in the taste, typical belgian fruity esters are present, but not so dominantly. Low hop bitterness can be noted. Medium body, average carbonation, yeasty esters on the finish. Not bad, but a belgian blonde should be much better.

Robe blonde, belle mousse. Nez assez discret, houblon, fruit jaunes, citron. Bouche à l’attaque ample, peu de fruit et de matière, finale assez courte. Une bière assez légère et manquant de corps.

ALLOVATE (2899) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 19, 2015
Well off came the cap and out came the beer. All over the coffee table, floor and kitchen as I struggled to get it to the sink. A good mouthful made it to the glass so not much to judge from but the house had a bready, yeasty glow. Misty, sandy gold and dull with a fleeting white crown - I guess it exhausted its carbonation! Lemon and pear drops on the nose with a light, earthy, noble hop zing. Yeasty and doughy on the palate. Light bodied but starchy and pasty in feel. Light herbal and grassy back with a little bitterness on the swallow. Yeasty length with a hint of vanilla Genoise sponge. Not in the best what made it to the glass. (33cL, no date stamp, Int’l Beer Shop, Leederville)
