Bottle: Huge head!, starts peachy, sweet and fruity. Cloves lining and spicey dies down mid bottle and ends a bit flat.

Light corn and muesli aroma. Slightly yeasty, which spoilt the palate a bit - not the most pleasant yeast I’ve ever encountered. Fairly middle-of-the-road Belgian ale, and certainly not special. However, there was a certain je-ne-sais-quoi which made it very enjoyable despite the few flaws.

Draft at Max’s 72 Hour Belgian Beer Fest. Cloudy blonde. Very floral, spicy and herbal nose to this. Flavor is malty with a large flowery presence, spices, generous yeast, soft fruit and herbs. Soft carbonation. Medium bodied. Ends with more yeast notes, bitter fruits and light spice.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a thick white head. Pleasant aroma of honey and yeast. Good flavor of honey, yeast and hops, dryness joins the ride near the end, it’s well balanced and the hops are very interesting. The body is medium with a creamy texture and a medium to lively carbonation. I don’t like Silly much but I have to say that this one quite good and well executed.

Hazy gold with a decent white head. Medium carbonation - a bit frothy on the tongue. Sweet, malty, slightly spicy with a dry finish.

Pours a clear golden yellow colour with a long-lasting and large frothy white head. Thin to medium bodied and highly carbonated. Low bitterness. Fairly sweet (slightly citrus) in the flavour. Finish: Dry, crisp. Overall: refreshing and drinkable but nothing special. - 330ml bottle.

Sold as Abbaye de Forest Blonde in Denekamp. Bottled. Cellary and pineapple in the aroma. Citric, flowery, perfumed, slightly acidic flavor. Thin. Below par for a Belgian ale.
