Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a huge fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of yeast and a touch of spices. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of yeast, spices, and citrus, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle. [Great two day tasting session @ Papsoe] Huge fine egg-white head that mostly lasted. Light cloudy orange / yellow color. Good display of lacework. Aroma of grain, caramel, fruit, citrus. Over the palate somewhat cookie like feel. Medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with a hint of acidic. Sweet fruity finish.

[Bottle @ Papsoe] Hazy pale golden. Sweet aroma with yeast and fruity notes. Same for the flavor with prickeling alcohol and a dry finnish..

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a collapsing white head. Mild wheaty and vague spiced aroma. Dry malty flavoured with a mild yeasty spice note. Quite dry finish with a lingering belgian yeast note.

Bright yellow color, with a rocky white head, leaving laces, yeasty, citrus nose, with some fruity notes of pinneapple, grapefruit, and stewed apple, with a faint vanilla spicy accent, a hint of floral hop in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, sweet honeyed pale malt character, with some stewed apple fruitiness, and vanilla spiciness, with a mild flowery hop accent , with a good carbonation, leading toward a citrus hop bittering finish.

(Rating #1389)

Looked pretty good, with a mass of foam on top that lasted quite a while. Aroma of pizza dough and bubblegum initially, but on tasting it was all just sweet sugars and maybe a little buttery. Flavour was quite sweet, although strangely dry at the same time, particularly in the finish. A little over carbonated, and not quite coping with the alcohol IMHO.

Above-average Belgian blonde ale. A lovely-looking beer with one of those heads that pays so little heed to a man’s thirst that you end up snouting through foam for a taste of the good stuff. Lots of sticky sugars in a generally sweet aroma. Bubblegum, violets, Belgian yeast, bath grout. Spritzy mouthfeel, which is a minor negative IMO. Medium bodied. Sour-sweet flavour mix. Lemon soothers, evident alcohol, bubblegum. Nice spicy clove finish. Quite "hot" for a beer of just 6.5% abv. Refreshing in a deceptive drink-four-wake-up-at-midday sort of way. (33cl bottle from Liquor on Parade. BB 5/7/09)
