| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 2, 2007 Well-carbonated, yellow-gold beer with a slight haze; good, dense, snowwhite head. Leafy, spruceneedles aroma, juniper - not the berries, rather the branches - VERY good. More juniper branch - with a serious toasted bread flavour. Ends even on a sweet brioche note, without any cloying, thanks to the spruce-like flavours. Ends earthy. Medium bodied at best. Refreshing despite the ABV. Very (positively) surprising beer from Meynsbrughen. I’d like to see more of these. Quinten (959), zaandam, Netherlands
