Dark mahogany colour. Aroma of caramel, yeast, hint of chocolate and mix of fruit. Light to medium bodied with a thin texture and an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavour with light acidic. Light caramel sweet finish.
DruncanVeasey (1631), Burbage, Leicestershire, England Jun 26, 2008 Deep ruby pour rocky with beige. Marzipan and rubber aroma, with sticky dark fruit and candy sugar. Sweet and boozy with the merest hints of roast and yeast extract. Sodden with marzipan, but more palatable than the Blonde. Sub-standard, overly boozy bruin. Same goes for the slightly sour flavor. yespr (6361), Copenhagen O, Denmark Feb 9, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with an amber hue and a collapsing tan head. Dried fruity, slight spiced and light malty. Overripe fruity flavour, medium sweet and solid caramel malt note. Ends sweet caramel and fruity. faroeviking (4159), Faroese Beer Republic über, Denmark Jan 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy deep brown colour with a short lasting beige head. Sweet dark fruity aroma with yeast, roasty caramel and malt. The flavour has a quite sweet roasty maltiness, with bitter hops, dark fruits, slight chocolate and yeast. Bitter roasty sweet good lasting finish.
