GRM (923), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada May 9, 2007 Can, 50 cl, savoured on May 9 2007, best before 06-01-2008; eye: straw with a light caramel hue, clear, light effervescence, creamy white head that is quite voluminous, quite a lot of lacing; nose: yeast, lots of banana, fruity, spicy malt; mouth: in that order, caramelized malt, banana, a thick layer of caramel underneath everything that makes the beer filling, a bit of spices, finale in ripe banana followed by a big wave of sugar that covers everything, quite sweet, no bitterness per se, medium body, creamy and sticky texture, average carbonation; overall: too sweet

JorisPPattyn (4642), Antwerpen, Belgium Feb 28, 2008 Draught Very (cold)hazy orange beer, with fluffy off-white head. Malt, and even expressly barley grain, parsley. Sweet taste, pinch of DMS, and a little saltiness, as well as some obvious caramel. Light to medium bodied, quite fizzy. Very plain beer, even when nothing fundamentally wrong. However, compared to the original St. Landelin from Crespin... KimJohansen (4299), Copenhagen V, Denmark Feb 14, 2008 Clear dark golden with medium short lasting off white head. Sweet aroma with flower and fruity notes. Sweet fruity flavor with spicy notes. Ends slightly bitter. tomthompson89 (1195), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 13, 2007 golden color, huge head, orange nose and some mild hops.
Boutip (1855), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Oct 11, 2007 Bottle: Poured a deep golden color ale with a huge pure white foamy head with some good retention and some nice lacing features. Aroma of grainy and unrefined malt is bordering on unpleasant. Taste is also dominated by this unrefined grain which I find is bordering on adjunct taste with little yeast or hops characteristics identifiable. Body is above average with some nice carbonation.
