3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ungstrup (23917) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 13, 2003
A dark yellow beer with a small head. The aroma is lovely sweet and malty with perfumated and spicy notes. The flavor is very light in the beginning but then it has a lot of palate. It is rather sweet and in the end lovely bitter. A good beer - but not fantastic.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Papsoe (22946) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 23, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) The abbey-thing with abbeys being paid by breweries for letting them use their names has apperently spread to France as well, where strong abbey-beers are popular. Blond, slightly sweetish with a rather full head. Very classical for it’s type, but nothing special. 160304

Bottled. Boring, unstable cider-like (non-)head. Tastes of mold. Not long aftertaste, but some alcoholic taste stays in back of mouth. Reminds me a bit of a cheap lager, though not THAT bad.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 yngwie (9175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 28, 2007
Bottle, 75cl corked. Almost clear pour, except for some micro-floates, golden in color, and a small, white head on top. The aroma started quite rubbery, then some malt and fruityness appeared. The rubber were present in the flavor as well, else it was sweet and malty. Dusty, medium full mouthfeel. The beer opened up a bit after a while, but the rubber was too evident for the beer to score higher. (070914)
