On offer at Lidl for Euro 1.58 for a 75cl bottle. Very good value I bought 8 cases. It is like a slighly thin, less tasty Goudale. Hits the spot and handles chilling. Just sad it is pasteurized.

Countbeer (2852) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - APR 30, 2013
Bottle: Medium sized, vast but quickly disappearing creamy white foamy head on top of a clear yellow colored beer. Aromas of fruits, glue, clay, grains, cardboard and hint of yeast. Flavours of grains, corn, glue, light sharp, light fruit, hint of chalk and yeast, some malts and light bitter. Aftertaste of grains, bit sharp, earth, light fruit and malts. Low carbo, soft light sharper mouthfeel, medium body and a texture between watery and creamy. Unbalanced, glue and sharp, can’t be good...

Easy to drink golden blonde with lasting aftertaste of the good yeast and palet.

A golden yellow beer with a lively carbonation. Notes of cereal, toast and herbs. Although not an exceptional beer it is a very good one for the price.

Bottle 33cl, a golden beer with medium head. Nose is light on currant. Aroma is fruity, medium sweet, yeast like, malty, typical belgian character, body is not that robust, finish has grassy and peppery hops notes, boring but cheap.

660 ml bottle served chilled in a chalice. Golden yellow with a white head aroma of ripe plums and yeast, lemony-fruity flavour.I get the Leffe comparison, but this is thinner and sharper.

Bottled corked 750ml (LIDL, Toulouse, BB 11/2013)
Clear deep golden color, small white head. Aroma of pear and plastic. Light to medium bodied.Sweetish apricot flavor, some yeastyness but otherwise quite light for this ABV. Obvious Leffe copy with reasonable price (1,49 euros per bottle).

6.5% gold colour with a thin head, another beer very much like Leffe blonde very nice.
