| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 2, 2009 750ml Bottle: Aroma of spices, pepper, slight coriander, wheat, light grains, and a hint of clove. Poured amber/brown/flaxen/light mud in color with a large, loose, white head that diminished and barely lasted around the edges. Cloudy. Very slightly sparkling. Full of tiny, medium, and huge-sized particles throughout. Kinda looks like diarrhea (cha cha cha). Flavor is light to medium bitter. Tastes of spices, yeast, light pepper, light wheat, and, unfortunately, water. Watery, dry texture. Average carbonation. Slightly sweet, spiced, finish is boring and dry. Bland and boring. unclemattie (2401), Georgia, USA

Nice wheat character, lots of grains. very hearty. Notes of lemon, fruit, oak, clove, and bready yeast. finishes with an orange peel flavor. Seems to be a bit stronger than most other Witbier. Watery, tingling.

Good aromatic spice, with plenty of fruit, particularly apple and grapefruit. Quite a tang in the throat and warming on the way down, but there’s also a mellowness, especially towards the end saxo (3572), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark
