4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy, slightly dark wheat, with a good thumb full of head. Bags of aroma, dominated by dough and yeast with nice levels of pepper and traditional spices, slight orange peel at the end. Initially decadent creamy palate that finishes surprisingly thin. Fresh wheat, yeast and a little pinch of oats great the consumer, followed by hints of spice and little under ripe banana. Clean somewhat creamy finish, not overly sweet nor dry, with no tartness

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle (330 ml). Extra from TheJester, thanks Andy! Hazy "dirty" golden with a small mostly lasting white head and some lacing. Aroma of coriander, light peppery notes, light banana and light wheat. Taste is about the same as aroma with candi(?). Light to medium body (a little heavier than most Belgian White). Moderate carbonation. Decent Belgian White. Drinkable. A tad heavy for the style.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
As with al brews of Abbaye des Rocs, this is no ordinary beer. The body is a witbier, but the brewers used some spices and three different grains to give this beer a unique flavor.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a translucent, dark straw colour with a white, half-finger head which fades to a ring.
Aroma has hints of hops, yeast, alcohol, bread, and dark fruits.
Taste is slightly bitter with hints of apples, banana, and citrus. Short, watery aftertaste with a hint of spice.
Low-medium body. A touch watery in the mouth. Medium, fizzy, carbonation.
Not a bad beer. Interesting. I’ve never tasted a beer like it.
