3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Frothmeister (393) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 18, 2013
330ml bottle. Pours a hazy peach colour with a white head. The nose is clean mineral notes with peppercorn, pear, light pink bubblegum, faint lemon, and yeast. Light bodied, and slightly sweet with great carbonation, it’s spicy up front with mineral notes, light earthiness, a nice floral note, faint banana, light soapy notes, and more heat with a unique note of light coconut in the finish. Light, easy drinking, but still has a lot going on. Recommended.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 chris__hartley (190) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 16, 2013
It pours translucent (very hazy) straw yellow coloured; the head is off-white and foamy. The aroma has notes of: honey, coriander, pepper, orange-zest, and sweet malts. The taste is medium sweet; there are notes of: fresh cereal, honey, coriander, alcohol, and pepper. The palate is medium bodied, has light carbonation, and a medium finish. Overall, meh.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Shaney (1807) - Köln / Cologne, GERMANY - JUN 15, 2013
Bräunlich-gelb, verhaltene Schaumbildung. Hefig-fruchtiges Aroma (Aprikose). Im Geschmack wie ein gehaltvolleres Wit, kräuterig und hefig-zitronig mit leicht nachbitternden Abgang. Nett, aber auch nichts Weltbewegendes!
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 bunget (325) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 14, 2013
330ml bottle. Cloudy orange body, lots of sedimentation, medium white head with good retention. Aroma of dough and yeast, herbal hops, spices, a touch of woodiness. Taste is a nice mix of yeast, cereals, herbal hops, spices, caramel. Lively carbonated. Lovely.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 probstblueribbon (2418) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 13, 2013
330 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass. BB 21/02/2015.
App.: Extremely cloudy dirty amber with a large off-white foam.
Aroma: Rich tropical fruit esters, a little yest and bread dough and hay, so fruity and friendly, nice.
Palate: Medium+ body, fairly full, fine effervescence.
Flav.: More cereals and wheat, still plenty of rich, fruity esters, a touch perfumed, really approachable; dry with minimal bitterness and a long, fruity, friendly finish.
Quite good. Not a big surprise for this brewer.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 reebtogi (3383) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 12, 2013
330ml bottle pours a hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is light fruits and yeast with some pepper notes. Taste is a light pepper spiciness with a fruit and malty sweetness and a spicy hop bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with plenty of carbonation and a slight alcohol presence. Definitely a witbier with some substance and character.

Not the average white. Nice looking, very tasty double white. Balanced fruity citrus with a masculien peppery aftertaste. Deserves to be chilled right!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Spab (1688) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 8, 2013
330 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a murky orange with average near white head. Aroma is cereal grains, fruit and musty hops. Flavour is big on the chewy cereal grains, with some fruity esters and light peppery note. Dry finish. Good, but nothing too special.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Metalchopz (1785) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 7, 2013
Single brown bottle from the LCBO. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a frothy white head, just above average retention and minimal lacing. Mild orange aromas with some light grass and yeast. The taste is pretty mild with cereal grains and just a tad of citrus sweetness from the oranges. Medium-light bodied, kind of boring. Lacking lots of character and spices. Just straight-up easy to drink.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Freaky_tiki (84) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 6, 2013
Cloudy pour with lush white cap. Tastes of sweet cereals soaked in milk. Great balance between soft tongue & big bite. Almost gin like in its spicing.
