sunevdj (1367), Copenhagen, Denmark Nov 1, 2005 Updated: Dec 25, 2005 An old favorite of mine... Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow. Lovely sweetness, with aromas of yeast, flowoers, wheat, spices, and some honey. Medium bodied. Slightly bitter finish.
thornecb (1053), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Aug 24, 2008 Pours gold into a tumbler. Fizzy soda pop head quickly recedes to nothing. Wheat and coriander aromas. Crisp with cereal and malt upfront and a lasting citrus finish. cluny6 (61), Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England Aug 13, 2008 Pours a rather cloudy, opaque "muddy" orange. Lots of yeast particules present.. Medium head that dissaperas in a few minutes. Yeast is very prominent in the aroma as well as bread. You can definetly taste the cereals in this beer. Slightly citric, tarty taste. Very different kinof wheat beer. Excellent. A+ in it’s category Mes_and_Sim (4320), Highgate, Greater London, England Aug 10, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle from Kris Wine Hazy golden brown with a thin white head that quickly settled to nothing in a violent fizz. Lovely estery aroma with some nice fruity hops and a lick of vanilla. Similar flavour that somehow retains an Abbaye des Rocs character. Superb spicy bitterness in the finish. More blonde than wit I think but still jolly good. Unholy_Brewing (287), Melbourne, Australia Aug 7, 2008 ...bottle from Cloudwine. Poured a darkish orange, with lots of tight bubbles, and a small white head that lasted for a good while. On the nose, majorly wheat, maybe a slight hint of hops, but nothing else. Medium bodied, decent flavor, slightly weird from the pepper notes, but not the typical orange\corriander duo. Dry finish, with a weird aftertaste, but wasn’t too bad. Not bad, but rather expensive and not worth it. roder_60 (871), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 27, 2008 Pours hazy orange yellow with tons of bubbly offwhite head. Aroma very light dough and lemon. Flavor extremely doughy with slight citric undertone. Too yeasty for my liking.
