Bottle, 33 cl. (@ home bought by Willems) And 75 cl. Vanden Bussche.
For me possibly, the best wit I have tried yet. Light amber color, with a creamy white head. Aroma lovely spicy, with citrus, yeasty. Medium to full body. Taste is nice but complex light sweet, coriander and a pallet of other spices. Very good character, bitter and a light hop bitterness. This is heaven: what a great whitebeer ! dhurtubise (568), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

Ligh amber, honey coloured beer with a cream coloured heat, not big but resistant. Beautiful spicy, bready aroma with citrous notes. Complex flavour profile,, sweet orange peel, coriander and a symphony of other spices coming through in the background and finish. These blend wonderfully with a slight lactic character, bitter onrantd and a light hop bitterness. Some honey notes in there as well. Bery soft voloptous mouthfeel and finish. Medium head that dissaperas in a few minutes. Yeast is very prominent in the aroma as well as bread. You can definetly taste the cereals in this beer. Slightly citric, tarty taste. Very different kinof wheat beer. Excellent. A+ in it’s category Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Appearance: thoroughly hazy orange color, copious cap of creamy tapioca. Looking very nice.
Aroma: spice arrives first, the coriander is king, a little clove?, rounded off with fruit, lemon, peach, apricot, orange...nice and lively...
Taste: a sumptuous sizzle sets in on the mouth, whirls and kicks a bit, then fades softly, while urging one to drink anew. Fresh, mellow, but flush with flavor. Yeast is hard at work at this one, too, but the spices are all over it, tantalizing the tastebuds, and the citrus fruit provides considerable zest.
Medium bodied, with a light, fruity finish.
Taste is terrific, and mouthfeel is a treat.
$7.59 for the bottle, and worth every penny and then some. Ernest (4483), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Body is hazy dark yellow, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted bread/grain, cookie), lightly to moderately yeasty (cobwebs), lightly hoppy (flowers), with notes of orange/lemon peel, pear, coriander, white pepper, clove, and honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety/watery texture, lively carbonation. Still love this stuff...great balance (only a little too sweet) and lovely aroma without the need for excessive spice character (though I’ve heard it’s not spiced at all, it certainly smells like it), very clean. Probably my favorite witbier ever. Uglyradio (775), Greenville, South Carolina, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 29, 2003 This Belgian white ale pours a pale, cloudy orange color with a medium sized, creamy white head that lingers. It has a wonderful aroma of orange peel, spices, wheat, and yeast that really tempts the nose and makes the mouth water. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. The flavor is peppery and spicy up front, with lots of wheat and orange flavors. The finish is long and sweet with lots more orange and coriander. A great white ale, one of the better I have had.
