Pours hazy golden because of yeast flakes. Nose is yeast. Aromas are malt, caramel and alcohol. Quite well-balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Licht geel bier met gemiddeld koolzuur. Smaak is ietwat zuur, appel, limoen. Weinig body en licht van smaak, die nauwelijks blijft hangen.

Bottle. Ohhhh yeah, keep thos Abbaye des Rocs nasty looking yeast flakes coming. Apart from the huge gobs of stuff rolling around in the steady stream of CO2 bubbles, the beer is clear deep gold colored with a not so impressive white head. Aroma is very fruity, lots of peach/pear, light alcohol notes, malty and quite perfumy. Taste is sweet, candied fruits, fruit cake, very dessert-like, very very mild bitterness, light metallic after-taste. Palate is well carbed, full bodied. Satisfying.

Bottle. Cloudy straw color, bright white head with fair retention and solid lacing. Aroma of banana, citrus, white pepper. Taste is funky grapefruit, light pineapple. Decent.

Looks like a normal blond beer, but tastes very good. Has a smooth taste of yeast and notes of different fruits and some coriander. Pretty good.

Aromas of candy, perfume, manure, yeast, citrus. Flavours are sweet and sour with yeast and citrus peel. Quite sugary sweet but has a refreshingly sharp acidic twang.

Bottle from a bottle shop in Belgium, bought in 2011. First of all it had a large yeast sediment so it is a good idea to cool it for a couple of days and keep it standing. Sweet fruity taste and smell with allot of yeast aromas (lots of bits floating around). Might be better without all the yeast.

33 cl. bottle @ home. BBF 21/09/2014. Hazy orange, bubbles rising, quickly gone white head. Soapy, spices smell, slightly metallic, coriander, orange peel,… Taste is fizzy, metallic, soap, coriander, bitter floral, bitter herbs, more soap, odd off-flavours, copper, pennies, mouldy orange, aspirin, bitter plaster, bitter uneatable herbs,… Mmm, no, had some incredibly stuff from these guys / lady & some clunkers… Going to start buying the good ones regularly & ignoring the rest.

Bottle at POV, Brum. Bottle threatened to explode, but did not. Once poured, it looks flat. Aroma is unspecifically orange, like a plug in air freshened. Taste is orange, specs, some wheat, some paper, some delicious yeast. On one hand it’s a bit dull, but on the other hand it’s compelling and enjoyable. You decide.
