Aroma is a mix between yeast and malt with some subtle spices. Taste is quite enjoyable with again the yeast coming on top. Floral aspect of this beer is very enjoyable and body is medium. Overall, this is a good standard Belgian Ale. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA

Some cardboard and peppery spiciness in the hoppy aroma. Very spicy, witbier-like flavor with blood and cardboard. Medium-bodied, slightly foamy-carbonated, but soft palate. A very interesting brew, to say at least. A fresher bottle could be even nicer... schuimkroaat (394), Leuven, Belgium

Nice golden colour, nicely combined aroma of Blanche des Honnelles and flavour of Tripel Karmeliet (although both a bit diluted). A nice beer. hopdog (5552), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 15, 2004 Poured a hazy, darker amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of yeast, breads, spices, and fruity smells. Starts of sweet with kinda of a sour and spicy finish. Peppery. Watery body. Overall a decent Belgian Ale. Hansen (2267), Randers, Denmark
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 8, 2004 Dark orange colour, medium head. Lots of flagelates in this brew, looks spooky. Hard to rate, taste good and has some badness. I think the overdose of hops/bitternes is confusing me. pivo (2535), Germany
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 26, 2004 I’m a fan of this brewer and this was consistent with their fine brews. Wonderful pleasant and not overpowering dusty, yeasty nose. Clear deep gold color and foamy head. Smooth, creamy malt with an orange background - coriander. Grassy tones and texture witha drying hop bitterness - what I generall like in a beer. Wanted some more malt body or even fruit taste up front to counter this, but I’ll take it. Sweaty, bready aroma with lemon, lime and bubblegum. Palate is slightly watery, quite yeasty with lemon, banana, perfume. Straightforward Belgian session ale - perhaps a bit too yeasty for my tastes.
