mabel (2530), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 17, 2009 [1815-20081022] 330mL bottle. Aroma of roast beef and citrus fixin’s. Slightly hazy, yellow brown body with a quick white foamy head and lots of floaties. Citrus malt flavour with toasted orange pips and a floral bitterness. Medium body is sour and bitter. Quite nice, fresh and hip.
Overheard: "I think if you can see through it and it’s gold, it’s gay."

Smell is spicy, herbal. Aroma of ginger, coriander, honey, peaches, oranges, mandarine Napoleon and grapefruits. Very fresh, medium bitterness. medium bodied. Maybe a bit overspiced. SETANTA (581), Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 30, 2008 Updated: Apr 21, 200975cl, pours bright orange, very effervescent, creamy head, some yeast came even with a careful pour, aroma was spicy (citrus, cardamom, noble hops), first taste was mix of light honey, peppery, peach, cotton candy, light malt, more yeast aroma came through during sip, finishes a touch bitter, then lingering sweetness after swallowing... alcohol is a touch warm at first, then breathes off quickly. fata2683 (837), Panama City, Florida, USA Dec 5, 2008 Bottle, pours light orange to yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is wonderful, light candied sugar, malt, and citric hop notes. Flavor is dangerously top notch. This is on another plane than Westy blond, which I also love. The flavors are on the other end of the spectrum, very fresh hop bitterness, light malt sweetness and the bitter orange/coriander flavors prevalent in a Wit. Never-the-less, tastes extremely fresh, and is a beer I would love to have on more than one occasion.
