Sweet and fruity flavour with spice in the finish. yespr (11631), Copenhagen O, Denmark Mar 30, 2008 33 cL bottle@fonefan/Brugmansia’s Cnudde tasting. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a lacing white head. Light citric fruity aroma. Flavour is sweet fruity and light spiced. Light spiced lingering finish. borisz (180), Netherlands Feb 16, 2008 bottle, golden color. Fruity aroma, also a fruity afterdrink. Fresh taste. oh6gdx (8796), Vasa, Finland Nov 21, 2007 Bottled. LSightly hazy honeyish golden colour, mediumsized beige creamy head. Aroma is fruits, yeast and some grassyness with lurking note of alcohol in the back. Flavour is fruityness mixed with wood and some yeast. Also some grassyness lurking. Aftertaste is quite sweet fruityness. boboski (1095), Alabama, USA Nov 15, 2007 Lightly clouded deep orange pour. None of the typical des Rocs protein chunks are present. A very thin white head is mostly and quickly diminishing. The aroma is at first a soft but full yeast profile with notes of orange pulp, coriander, peppers, lightly toasted grains. Seems like a low alcohol triple with a vegetal twist. The flavor is a huge upgrade, very drinkable and soft, comforting. Yeast and candi sugar notes are lessened, malt takes hold for the duration. Superior quaffability is at hand. Low-mild bitterness, same with acidity, sweetness is medium. Medium-dry finish, somewhat bitter. This ends up delectable after a questionable start. thewolf (5633), Kolding, Denmark Nov 9, 2007 Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk. Pours a clear (very clear for a des Rocs!) orange-yellow. Aroma is lightly sweet with a little citric oranges, peach, herbs and butter. Nice and rather lively mouthfeel. Flavour has yeast, some light caramel, lots of fruits (peach, oranges, pineapple, apples) as well as a touch of coriander in the finish. Very fresh and light - this I would like to drink during the hot summer months. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Oct 11, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a lightly cloudy golden body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of light herbal, citrus, and bread. Flavor of spicy yeast, light fruitiness, and some coriander with mild bitterness in the finish.
