I think this one is probably a bit too old.
Its lovely sweet spicy apricot aromas are still there but quite faint, Floatie yeast soon settles to the bottom of the glass. flavour tastes alittle old, very dry and with a hint of stone fruit. Grovlam (3790), Copenhagen, Denmark Jun 5, 2007 Bottle 33 cl. Average fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Fair lacing. Somewhat clear but with heavy particles in flow. Color was lovely golden. Heavy yeast notes with aroma of soap and leather. Light perfume, and moderated lovely apricot and peach, spice, coriander. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweet flavor with hint of acidic and bitter notes as well. Excellent combination of flavors I thought. Lingering apricot/fruity sweet finish. I really enjoyed this beer. joss (3633), Garching b. München, Germany Feb 8, 2007 Updated: Mar 7, 20090.25l bottle - rerate. Peachy, fresh citric, from alive and kicking belgian yeast. Cloudy yellow, low white head. Nice fruity base flavor, light nutmeg, coriander, clementines retronasal.
Medium body, fine sparkly mouthfeel. Fresh and enjoyable. Thanks a lot for the opportunity to rerate this one pivnizub, the old rating was obviously from a dud:
6/3/6/2/8
Vineous, spiced wooden and light vinegarry aroma. Amber, low head. Lightbodied - overattenuated, wooden and dusty, some coriander. Adding the yeast does not improve the substance a lot.
Wooden aftertaste. TheGrandMaster (1846), Auckland, New Zealand Feb 5, 2007 Bottle, very lively on opening before pouring to a hazy orange with a disappointingly thin bubbly head. A sweet musty fruit aroma, but with an acidic sharpness. Quite thin, but with a refreshing citric zestiness. The weak finish becomes a little buttery. Hard to get very enthusiastic about this one - maybe it didn’t travel well. ante (2904), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 6, 2006 Bottled. Pours out in a opaque dark tellow/orange colour, topped with a white creamy foam. Fruity aroma of peaches and banana with a subtle acidity from raspberries and citric fruit. Yeast, banana and raspberries in flavour, hints of honey, grass and peach-skins. Quite dry aftertaste of oranges and lemon zest and coriander. Pleasant belgian blonde. imdownthepub (5089), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Feb 6, 2006 Bottled. Yellowish cream colour with large head. Sharp but thin blonde beer, high on citricty which makes it refreshing, but low on other flavours. Thin maltiness and mouthfeel. joergen (8430), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 26, 2006 Bottle.
Hazy yellow coloured with a huge white head.
Aroma of fruits, spices, yeast and ascorbic acid.
Flavour of fruits, spices and yeast with notes of ascorbic acid. maeib (4681), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Jan 22, 2006 Bottled. A blonde coloured beer with typical AdR protein floaties and a small short-lived white head. The aroma is bitter lemony hops, moussey fruit and a little sweet honey. The taste is light and lemony, with a little spice. Quite thin bodied but very nicely drinkable.
