DruncanVeasey (1631), Burbage, Leicestershire, England Aug 25, 2007 Murky brown pour speckled with white clumps. Sourish fruit, orange peel and aniseed in the nose. Flavour opens quite sourly with gooseberryish hops and heady spice, drying to a liquorice-like finish. Honeyish, medicinal and earthy. Bittersweet with a splash of cointreau. Big, smooth and uncompromisingly Belgian.
