Balanced, with light taste. High carbonation. This beer is very pleasent, but do not show something great.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a little lighter than their other beers and not quite the beer I hoped for from the Rock Abbey. Soft carbonation. Pours cloudy orange with great head and lacing, thick carpet here. Some light florals and a dose of lemony citrus. Finish is a little sour and a little sweet. Booze well-hidden. Bottle thanks to Slovak Sniper.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at home. The colour is murky light orange with an off-white medium head. Has a bit strange aroma with leather, spices and some citrus, pale malt and yeast. Flavour of citrus, hay, yeast and basement. Has a rich and smooth mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A powerful tripel with a bit strange taste and aroma. Not sure I’m liking it that much. Maybe too much yeast is affecting this beer.

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: NOV 2, 2013 Bottle. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a medium, white head. Aroma is lemony, some funk and pale malt. Taste is semi sweet with lemon and marzipan caramel. Marzipan yeast at work again, some apple flavor. Too sweet for my tastes in this style. Palate is light with quite a bit of carbonation. A disappointment from des Rocs again, after the spectacular Brune, the Blonde and Ambree have been... Well, undrinkable is perhaps an exaggeration, but not pleasant or worth drinking, considering the high ABV.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared at Gaasa, june 11th 2013. Cloudy golden with a big lasting white head. Aroma is sweet malt, yeast acids, grass and rosemary. Taste is spicy with lots of caramel and citrus fruits. Nice fruity yeast esters coming late. Aftertaste of sweet malt and grass. A bit too sweet, otherwise an enjoyable beer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
33cl bottle. Pours golden (lots of sediment) with small white frothy head. Aroma is yeast, cereals and hints of wheat. Predominantly sweet. The flavour is caramel, fruits, cereals, and a touch of white grape. Differs from the average tripel. Light/medium mouthfeel, soft carbonation. This one is on the sweeter side...not my style.
