3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Chipalsa (699) - Florida, USA - APR 17, 2012
This beer was loaded with yeast, nothing chunky but the pour was very cloudy and golden with a thin clean head. Aromas were also yeasty with hints of vanilla and light spices - altogether pretty mellow and sweet. With a carbonated, dry mouth feel, there was a light hop presence on the tongue. Flavors of grapefruit, banana and yeast fill the mouth with delicate sweet notes. The aftertaste was full of bread and more yeast, for a lingering sweet aftertaste. Obviously pretty complex, but a light drinker at 7.5% abv.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Pinball (8561) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 16, 2012
unclear golden with loads of sediment and yeast, but no big lumps as in other abbaye des rocs i´ve had. large fluffy almost yellow head, with lots of brown particles on top. yeasty tart and spicy aroma, fruity, yellow fruity, straw, grassy notes as in a french biere de garde, seemingly quite malty sweet too.
Flavor is sweet, spicy bitter , spicy sweet, yeasty, straw, licorice, one wonders what they use to ferment this kind of beer, flavor notes are definetly all over the place. Resembles a homebrew gone really wrong, but retains enough finesse to become interesting instead of yuck!.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 gnoff (5001) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 14, 2012
33 cl bottle via brekeriet (thanks to Nisse666!), sampled on April 14, 2012 BB 04.03.14 I can see HUGE proteins in the bottle. First pour is almost clear, then turns hazy, then cloudy as hell. Yellow color, fairly big lasting white head. Sweet, glue, alcohol, yeasty, spicy, solvents scent. Sweet, alcohol, grainy, sugary taste. Bread and yeast with alcohol and solvents, also sugary aftertaste. Medium thin mouthfeel, low bitterness. Not good at all. I can’t even understand how the hell you get so many proteins in each bottle, and seems to use way too much sugar for my taste to raise the alcohol. This brewery seems less liekly for me to go back to for more beers in the future.
