oh6gdx (8798), Vasa, Finland Jan 8, 2006 Bottled. Reddish amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is just lovely, richly fruity and pleasant hopping and yeasting. Flavour is sweet toffeeish with some bitterish flowery hops and spices. Pleasant aftertaste of plum, spices and flowery stuff. Extremely complex, and yes, it’s a christmassy beer indeed!! ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA Jan 3, 2006 Cloudy orangish brown body with a moderate head. Aroma is their yeast with some darker fruits and caramel. Flavor is the same, but a little bit much alcohol to my liking. It’s there, but definitely doesn’t ruin it either. hobgoblin (163), St-Épiphane, Quebec, Canada Dec 30, 2005 Bottle (1 years). clear brown muddy ale with nice tan head. malt, caramel, alcohol and spicy aroma. Taste of malt caramel, spicy finish, well balanced, no carbonation. very nice. thanks to Gonzobeer.
Bière de couleur brun assez clair avec des sédiments et un bon collet beige. Odeur de malt, caramel, alcool et épices. Au goût, c’est le malt caramel, avec des épices a la fin, bien équilibré, co2 très bas. merci gonz
