33 cl. bottle poured in to a Trappist glass. Dark amber colour with a lightly tanned creamy head. Sweet aroma with dark, dried fruits, rich caramel malts, yeasts, candid sugar, earthy and floral hops, some spiciness. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Long lasting slightly dry finish with dark, dried fruits, yeasts and spices. Nice Belgian, lacks a bit superior complexity compared to the best trappists.

Bottle: Nose is yeast, cloves, brown sugar, a little not , cinnamon and spice; perfect for the style. Taste is brown sugar, belgian yeast, brown bread, rich plums, leading to light cloves and cinnamon and spice. It’s quite dubbel like and very sippable, but it lacks in the finish a bit. Moutfeel is sticky. A very nice festive beer which is quite dubbel like in nature.
