Pours a deep ruby colour, with a thin off-white head and plenty of yeasty bits floating around; aroma of dark berry fruits; taste is soft, supple, with generous dried dark fruits; a little spice; this is a lovely, almost soothing drink.

330 ml bottle, pours cherry red with a foamy off white head, aroma is sweet caramel malt, cherry and grape, balanced nicely with mild bittering hop. So easy to drink, the alcohol is well hidden, carbonation is lively, palate medium. Lovely

Appearance: Hazy amber color with a fine off white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Yeast, fruity and some spicy notes.
Palate: Medium + body. Mild bitterness and a balanced mild sweetness. Average carbonation.
Taste: A mild pleasant sweetness that grows in your mouth. Fruity, some spices and yeast. Dangerously well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: Tasty and lovely ale you can relax with for a long time.
Personal stats: Bottle Gundersen brought with him at Julebordet 13.

9% a dark brown pour with a thick beige head. The aroma was a bready, sweet, yeasty malt goodness. Wow, a sweet malty, caramel, plums, bready, full bodied tasty beer. I am quite impressed, this much flavor for 6 bucks is a good value. I am kind of surprised how much I liked this, it has layers of flavor but is mellow & is great to sip from a snifter.

Pugno (55) - Konstanz, Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - DEC 7, 2013
Color beetween caramel and an homemade white wine: light brown, little cloudy and with floating in it. Poor white head. It has a nice carbonation to the nose, sweet smell, caramel and prunes. Watery body, sweet balanced taste. No bitterness. Little hint of yeast in the second half of the bottle, but it doesn’t turn doesn’t turn down the pleasure. The palate is smooth. For sure a good drinking.
