Bottle at xmas tasting. Pours murky brown, caramel and spices on nose, quite thin and fizzy, sweet caramel.

Colore ambrato scuro con sfumature rubino schiuma persistente fine color beige nocciola. Importante presenza di depositi che la rendono estremamente torbida. Aroma di malto forte sentore vinoso-etilico caramello frutta secca nocciola. In bocca molto dolce di caramello mediamente carbonata con un forte effetto warming e leggera speziatura e leggero amaro al palato. Luppolo impercettibile. Globalmente un buon esempio di birra di natale

Cerveza de color marrón con una buena cabeza compacta de color marrón claro. Aroma dulce y especiado por sus notas de caramelo, malta tostada y de cilantro. Sabor muy a malta y muy complejo, se caracteriza por una mezcla de sabor a chocolate y a café con una toque de caramelo quemado. Extremadamente compleja, es una cerveza navideńa muy bien hecha, Buena cerveza invierno.

Pours clear brown with a beige header, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is caramel, dates and figs, light alcohol notes. Flavor is rich and sweet malt, dark fruits, spicy and a sweet finish.

Bottle. Dark brown with fast disappearing light beige head. Brown sugar, lots of spices, banana bread, yeast, dried plums, marmalade, wine gums. Very sweet with light roasted bitter finish and quite some alcohol. Medium to full bodied. I'll never be a fan of Christmas beers but this is not bad. Still not the best Des Rocs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Beer Planet. Pours clear brown with chunky yeast and a medium, tight bubbled beige head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel, bread, and rich malt, dates and figs, light peppery alcohol notes, nutmeg and cardamom. Flavor is rich and sweet malt, dark fruits, spicy and peppery alcohol, nutmeg and a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation.

In bottiglia. Colore marrone con riflessi rubino, enorme deposito di lievito che vaga a pezzi per il bicchiere. Da subito si nota che la conservazione della bottiglia non č stata delle migliori. Aroma non del tutto deteriorato, al palato invece sentori di acetone. Bottiglia sfortunata

dough, earthy, (dare i say doughnut?) hazy cloudy amber colour body with no head, strong yeasty brown sugarthing going on with an effervescent tingly aftertaste. i see the good reviews and think really its just weird?
