Gushing. Brown colour, clear, but there’s lots of yeast, quite nice creamy head. Very high carbonation. Aroma: biscuits, caramel, bread, some wionous notes, yeasts, spices, clove, toast, green apple, alcohol after warming. Full body, lots of sweetnes, but there’s also some fruity sourness. Lots of yeast in flavour, some clove, ester fruits. Low bitterness, in the end some earthy notes and alcohol (nice covered when cold, aleter becoming annoying).

butelka, warka do 10/11/2017. na szybko: brzydkie piwo - gushing, jakies plywajace farfocle w srodku. aromaty ciemnych owocow, karmelu. rodzynek, troche fig kandyzowanych, troche (malo) przypraw piernikowych. w smaku slodkawe, kwaskowate, niezbyt pelne, bez goryczki, pojawiaja sie poza nutami z aromatu jakies jasne owoce a la winogrona. alkohol ukryty na belgijska modle. niby dobre, ale tez rozczarowanie.

Hazy, dark brown with red hue, small beige head. Aroma is of caramel, sugary, fruits, green apple, some spice. Taste is very sweet sugar and caramel, very light roast, lots of apple peel, fruity esters, some spice and yeast, bit bready finish, some light herbal bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit sticky. Very cloying with a sweet sticky aftertaste. (bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Thick ivory top with chunks and bits floating in brown coca-cola-ish world. Comes across as boiled apple juice, some roast, rhubarb, sweetness though no added sugar. Tastes as tad bitter preserved apple juice (or perhaps prune juice), roast on the palate and rather low alc. Taste does not evolve into layers but stays consistent. Overall good sticky sugarfree beer.

Strong Belgian ale, pours dark with a off white head. Head does not last long. Flavours of caramel and liquorice. Smooth aftertaste. Very pleasant drinkable ale.

Bottle @ DØE. Appearance: pours clear dark brown with short lived off-white soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: brown sugar, chocolate, dried fruits, alcohol, spices, palette: strong malty and yeasty aroma, average to sparkling carbonation, full body, notable sugar sweetness, somewhat balanced by a medium bitterness, long duration and an oily texture. Overall: tasteful Christmas beer, with a darker malt profile than many other Belgians

Brown color with tan head. Aroma is caramel and brown sugar, very belgian. Taste is also caramel and brown sugar, but nicely balanced. A nice winter brew, albeit very sweet. High but fine-bubbled carbonation.

Bottle. A spicy Belgian strong as you would expect it, but with a good quality. Fine but heavily carbonized, making it surprisingly well-drinkable.
