This looks very good in the glass, a deep plummy colour with a creamy, satiny yet firm head. This is the roc that is not in a hard place. There is a very typical BSA fruitiness and mustiness in this beer and a lot of plum pudding ingredients come to the fore. In the mouth the ABV is quite obvious as is the intensity of flavours that make this an all things good beer. I must try to get another bottle for the winter months ChristianScheffel (4689), Odense, Denmark

(3+) Sweet rich ambiguous fruit in the aroma, sugars are muddled but pleasant (7+). Sweet fruity flavour, similar spices as in the aroma, very brief allusion to candy cane (7+). Becomes a touch to sweet halfway, but is still quite nice. Smooth, not quite medium bodied palate. (3+) On tap at Delerium Cafe, Brussels ThomasE (5178), Copenhagen, Denmark

Dark brown, small white head. Caramel aroma, some alcohol, light spices - nice. Good taste - more caramel and malt, alcohol, rather sweet and spicy. Very good yet surprisingly very drinkable as well at this alcohol percentage.
