Ungstrup (11692), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 6, 2005 [At RBSG 2005] A brown beer with a small light brown beer. The aroma is sweet woody combined with notes of alcohol, and caramel. The flavor is sweet spicy and woody combined with alcohol and hints of cork. Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 2, 2007 (Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of sk8viking. Very hazy amber golden with a small, off-white head. Spicy and sweet nose with some brown sugars. Quite full-bodied, rich with sweet caramels and some spices - as well as a slightly earthy/fusty edge. Plenty of brown sugars in there also. Basically no bitterness. 280907 omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 21, 2008 Bottled, thanks ante! Cloudy brownish dark amber with creamy head. Estery pineapple aroma with some raspberries. Sweet and full bodied. Potent concentrated juicy flavours of strawberry esters, lingonberry and wood. Alocohil is fuelling the intesnity of the flavours, but does not disturb. A full flavoured very good beer. In fact nearly as good as their somewhat less strong releases which is a very good thing. yespr (7779), Copenhagen O, Denmark Oct 5, 2007 75 cL bottle, thanks to sk8viking. Pours hazy amber with a lacing white head. Malty, dried fruity and somewhat slight cloying. Nice underplayed spiced flavour with a sweet maltbase. Ends with a great blend of all elements.
