This bottled brew marked best before 2009 lot 3B43 was capped and corked. It poured a very large sized head of fine to large sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a yeasty transparent dark brown colored body and a thick clingy lacing. The wonderful aroma was malty with mild vinous notes caramel grass and yeast. The mouth feel was perfect with a tingly smooth start and a even smoother mellow finish. The aftertaste left nice caramel malt and dark malt notes to coax the hand to raise once again and pour more. The flavor was awesome with good dark malty notes and a nice caramel punch to it. Excellent awesome and very very good to say the least. Good good good yummy! Can’t wait for more of this nectar from the gods.

Amber/brown pour, huge white head, and huge amounts of lacing. Aroma is of apples, candied sugar, yeast. Flavor is of a typical Belgian Strong Ale - dark fruits, candied sugar, bread/cookie, and almost no bitterness. Great brew.

Ruby-Mahogany with a large, yellowish, foamy head. Yeast sediment throughout the beer. Nose is quite a blend: very sweet with yeast, fruity jelly, caramel, some spice (possibly a little pepper). Sweet, fruity flavor, malts and yeast the dominant forces. Palate is a little foamy and too carbonated, but long lasting. A nice beer, perhaps best for desert.
