COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Très régional, son nom rappelle la coutume du « vivat flamand » où l’on honore l’hôte ou les mariés à la fin d’un banquet en reprenant un air connu de tous les Ch’timis.

A golden blond Ale brewed from a unique fermentation process in open tanks, using century old technics. Skimmed manually, Vivat Blond is a pure malt “Bière de Garde” which recalls the natural flavours of beer. Its freshness and its slight bitterness at the finish even charm beer novices.

Alengrin (2815) - BELGIUM - FEB 26, 2015
Less well-known bière de garde, rating from old notes. Sticky, rocky, off-white head, hazy peach blonde colour with minuscule bits of yeast in it. Flowery aroma of bread dough, unripe peach, flour, hazelnuts, dandelion, orange peel, raw potato. Doughy and starchy character, spicy phenols, refreshing citrus accent, light nutty maltiness; mildly bitter finish with floral and leafy hoppiness but something phenolic too, a little bit wry.

75cl bottle. Orangish golden colour with a thin white head. Caramel, dough and yeast in the aroma. Taste is more on the sweet side with light bitterness. Overall, a regular beer.

Bottle 0.33 l, Carrefour, Wrocław, Poland.
Złote, mętnawe piwo o obfitej i puszystej pianie oraz świeżym, słodowym, lekko owocowym, kwaskowym i ziemistym aromacie. W smaku gęste, słodowe i zbożowe z łagodną goryczką na finiszu.

Blond very clean body and simple head. Soft malts, grainy, herbal yeast, sugary but not necessarily sweet. Simplistic mouthfeel, foamy, light astringent. Not interesting at all but quality is okay. (33cl bottle from Christmas gift pack at Auchan Tours)

Pours honey gold with tall, lingering head. Nice pineapple and grapefruit aromas with a bit of hay. Very dry with white pepper and a touch of bitter funk on the finish. High carb typical of a belgian.
