COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Très régional, son nom rappelle la coutume du « vivat flamand » où l’on honore l’hôte ou les mariés à la fin d’un banquet en reprenant un air connu de tous les Ch’timis.

A golden blond Ale brewed from a unique fermentation process in open tanks, using century old technics. Skimmed manually, Vivat Blond is a pure malt “Bière de Garde” which recalls the natural flavours of beer. Its freshness and its slight bitterness at the finish even charm beer novices.

Bottled. Amber beer with a strong head, strong and slightly fruity aroma and a quite tame blonde Belgian beer style flavour. Overall a reasonable beer.

Jan 2010: Brown cork and caged 75cl bottle, mine stated 6.3% ABV. Golden and looking like a Belgian Blonde, small white head sat on top. The aroma and taste went hand in hand, hops, barley, sweet toffee and caramel all in about equal quantities. The beer however lacked a killer punch and had a soft underbelly, meaning it had no mouthfeel or presence after the first sip or two, hoped for great things, got a beer that was drinkable but very average.

Bottle shared at the Euston Tap. Pours a lightly cloudy, matte yellow with a creamy, white head. Yeast, fruit, candy and bread in the nose. Fairly sweet flavor with bready malts, yeast, musty hops and some light sourness. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Slightly vinous. A touch tart in the finish, with more fruits, yeast and bread. Meh.
