COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewer description : A triple fermented golden premium beer, brewed from a unique process using two different yeasts and an old regional secret. This “Bière de Garde” is refermented in bottle and has rich, copious and persistent foam. With it slightly cloudy aspect, Vivat Triple is of a great aromatic complexity. It delivers very good hope bitterness at the finish. It has been rewarded in 2008, by the most prestigious award for food and drinks’ quality in France: Golden medal at the “Concours agricole de Paris”.

Hazy blond color. Aroma of plastic and puke. Correct body strength, sweetish malt flavor, then I have the impression of drinking a vegetables soup. Low bitterness. Uncontrolled fermentation, like all French beers.

Hazy golden with a medium off white head. Sweet and malty aroma with caramel, fruits and hints of hops. Flavour had fruits, yeast, malt and coriander notes. Finished dry.

Ceramic bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a cloudy golden with a rough yet lively white head. Sweet spicy and fruity nose. Medium body, sweet fruit - banana and pineapple - accents. Some yeast and a little phenols. Sweet finish with some alcohol presence. 100410

Bottle, bought @ Vinspecialisten, Kolding Storcenter.
Pours hazy yellow-golden with a small, frothy, white head. Aroma has green apples, light yeast, a bretty touch and fine malts. High carbonation, fine oily and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, malty, good apple zest, softly vinious and still a slight bretty note. Fine and very drinkable.

Pours feisty, exploded as soon as I unwound the wire and... there goes my shirt. But anyways, has an okay head that fades really quick, colour is hazy orange. Aroma is a sort-of lambic bent with lots of hops, citrus, orange peel. The taste is quite good - a mix of hops and malt, some sour notes. Comes off a little "wet", though, should be drier in my opinion. Otherwise, rather nice.

[2698-20100113] 750mL bottle. Mild toasted yeast aroma has sugary donuts hints. Hazy, light orange brown body with a medium-lasting creamy white head and tons of suspended floaties. Mild grainy toast yeast flavour is very pleasant. Medium body has a little tang. Not outstanding but quite drinkable and agreed with me tonight.

My bottle [750ml] shared with HogTownHarry, garthicus, jerc, mabel & GregClow. Pours a clear gold with a small diminishing white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, fruit, light sugary sweetness, a hint of hops and some apple -- also a touch sour. Flavour of yeast, grain, pale malt, alcohol and some light tart fruit. Medium bodied. Just O.K., I don’t love Triples and this seems like an average one.

In short: A sweet, very fruity (ripe fruits) strong blonde ale with a few problems. No thanks
How: Bottle 750ml. Consumed (fresh?) a few weeks after purchase
The look: Partly cloudy golden-blonde body topped by a short-lived medium white head.
In long: Nose of honey and canned fruits, pears mainly. Taste is dominated by extra-ripe fruits (ripe pears, ripe apples, ripe bananas, more…), wet white bread and honey. I also noted cabbage, boiled eggs and other off flavours. Overall very sweet, way too sweet. Some spicy hops providing a minimal contribution. Body is oily with an aggressive carbonation. Pretty bad at first but this is the kind of bad the taste buds get used to and at the end it is somewhat drinkable, but not good by any means. Lame. I don’t know how this little brewery can think that this is an acceptable Triple. All you need to be feel successful is ignorance and a lot of self-confidence.

Bottle in the house. A touch gassy but very nice, much better than I expected. A strong one though.
