COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewer description : A triple fermented golden premium beer, brewed from a unique process using two different yeasts and an old regional secret. This “Bière de Garde” is refermented in bottle and has rich, copious and persistent foam. With it slightly cloudy aspect, Vivat Triple is of a great aromatic complexity. It delivers very good hope bitterness at the finish. It has been rewarded in 2008, by the most prestigious award for food and drinks’ quality in France: Golden medal at the “Concours agricole de Paris”.

Bottle, it pours hazy cloudy golden with large white head.... aroma is coriander, citrus,lime.... the flavor is much coriander, alcohol, spicy..... thin body .... palate bitter, alcohol.....almost no carbonation...

(50cl copper ceramic bottle) Purchased at The Strath in Victoria, BC, for $9.90. Pours a clouded, deep amber body with lively carbonation and a thin, white, foamy, quick-dissipating head. Nose of lemon and highly yeastiness. Good malt front gets broken by the citrus body. Does a good job hiding the ABV. Very smooth, almost milky texture. Good.

Botella, gracias al señor Plovmand. Unclear amber golden colour with a small but steady white head. Fruity and yeasty spiced pleasantly sweet aroma. Lively mouthfeel. Fruity spiced sweet yeasty bitter lightly acid like flavour with light alcohol. Sweet finish.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet malt, fruit, caramel and lime. The flavour is spicy with notes of sweet malt, corn and alcohol. Had a warm sample, which it probably didn’t benefit of.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a creamy white head. The aroma is fruity and caramelish with some acidic notes. Spices like coriander. Quite sweet malty with spicy notes. Some fruit and light acidic side notes. Fruity finish.

500ml ceramic bottle from 16th St. Liquor in West Vancouver. Pours a medium gold with high carbonation and thick, pillowy off-white head that lingers before finally reducing to two fingers. Aroma is yeasty, slightly sharp in hops, somewhat dusty...might be suppressed by the thick foam on top. Taste is certainly Belgian is style, funky, yeast predominant with a firm hop bite in the finish. The beer tastes slightly young, a tad too effervescent but still pleasing. Aging might really compliment it well. Finish lingers well with hops remaining on the tongue as well as some yeast. Pretty good.

from Au Grain d’Orge, Neuchâtel - hazy dark blond colour with a little long lasting foam; nice lace; very estery with notes of pear, apples and honey; overcarbonated and pretty malty, quite sweet, very tart and dry; long estery and fruity finish

From 50cl ceramic bottle. Golden cloudy body with lots of sparkling, white foam and rocky head that lasts and leaves a good white lacing. Bread, dough, licorice, raisin, grassy aromas with some hints of banana. Light sweetness, medium bitterness, more aromas develop in mouth like resin and plum. Medium body, creamy, lively, long sweet finish with a dry alcoholic aftertaste. Nice french tripel which gets close to its belgian counterparts though more yeasty, but still lacks some complexity and maturity. Would like to try it after some time in a cave and filtered.
