Draft @ The Abbey. Pours hazy caramel color with tan head. Sweet caramel aroma. Flavors of caramel and molasses. Chewy body with moderate carbonation.

Dark amber-red with pretty nice off-white head. Seemed about to leave lace but didn’t. Sweet but characterful aroma. nice and spicy in the ginger-cinnamon pocket. Has a nice malt profile with some bread and cherries. Really enjoyed it at first. Very drinkable, good, and bready at first but gets cloying after a while. Still, a good effort.

Reddish-brown. Thin head. Malty-chewy aroma with lots of tasty chocolate nuances. Some higher alcohols. Caramel, light toffee. Has a slight alcoholic dryness. A bit thin for the style. Way too rough, but the malt complexity is pretty good.

Pint at The Abbey. Clear brown wtih a very small head. Aroma is malty, caramel, and a bit nutty. Flavor starts out nice with some good caramel malt but quickly this beer finishes with an odd flavor and its too damn thin.

Great, sweet malty chewiness, with slight hop bitterness. Only problem was that it tasted a little soapy and rather metallic, my diagnosis is that the keg was probably only an hour old. I was the first to try it in a couple years I guess. As it sits there it should erase those flavors, which gives me an excuse to come back and try it again.
