Definitely on the beginner side of IPAs. Not crazy bitter but still a nicely constructed and well balanced IPA.

Tap at brewery. Pours mostly clear amber with fizzy off-white head. Aroma is biscuit and cereal malts, light toast, apricot, and light floral and grassy notes. Flavor is dry malts with medium hop bitterness, and faint grapefruit; dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

On tap at the Abbey. Cloudy burnt orange pour with a white head. Mild bland hop aromas. Taste follow suit. Somewhat bland and lifeless. Decent body, balance, and mouthfeel.

Draft, pint. Clear amber color with small creamy off-white head, fair lacing and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of moderate caramel malt combines with mild herbal and citrus hops. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel and biscuit malt, however it’s not enough balanced with hops. Medium to full body, thick and dry texture and lively carbonation in palate. It is tasty indeed, but caramel points out to similarity with amber ale or at least more resembles English IPA...

migajos (161) - Warsaw, POLAND - NOV 25, 2013
On tap at Abbey bar Miami Beach. Weak aroma. Cant smell hops. No typical fruity aaroma as it shpoul;d be for IPA. Caramel id dominating. This is what I don’t like in IPA’s. Although the taste is quite ballanced. Good bitterness.

Shaker pint draft at Abbey Brewing Company in Miami Beach, Florida. The pour is a light haze orange gold with a one inch frothy off white head. The aroma is light floral hop, along with some Belgian yeast spice. The taste is the light floral hop of the nose, transitioning to the spice Belgian yeast in the finish. Fresh, though a bit understated. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation and clean enough finish.
