Pours a nice cloudy white with very little head, with this style I expect more head. Belgian yeast on the nose with a bit of coriander and a tiny hint of lemon and some pepper.
Taste is what I would expect, but has more lemon zest on the palate than the nose gives. Something sweet in this, but it doesnt hit you until the finish, oddly enough. Finish is very dry, quite nice. If I was to guess, i wouldnt think this was made by monks in the desert of New Mexico. Pretty decent foray into beer for a start up.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz poured. Brewed just a few counties over and commissioned by the Abbey I used to work for. Pours a very light golden color, almost that of a macro lager. Fizzy head that does not linger. Smells of Belgian yeast and a tiny hint of coriander. Goes down with a slight bite and very light flavor. Mostly a very, very light orange peel.
Good session beer

On tap at the Spinnerstown Hotel. Very nice aromas with hints of bananas and spice. Sweet flavor with a crisp clean finish. Different from the normal over sweet finish of some Belgian ales.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Definitely a session beer. A little wheat character in the aroma and a light, wit body. Not the best example of the style, but good drinking.
