| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 19, 2009 On tap, at brewpub. Pours a hazy dark amber with a one finger fizzy beige head that had decent retention. Light nose, some husky and toasted grains, light yeast, and a little fruitiness. The flavor is toasted and dry maltiness with just a touch of yeast derived fruitiness. Moderate bitterness, kinda leafy, on the back end. More hops than I expected. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a little resiny stickiness on the finish. Moderate fizzy prickly carbonation. Bigger and bolder than the usual for the style, the bitterness got a bit old by the end of the glass. dpjuart (670), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 3, 2009 Draft sample at brewpub. Yellow with no head. Nose is buttered, home made biscuits. Taste is corn, butter, and malt, crisp hops at finish. Clean, not muddled. Not my favorite style, but decent. Naka (525), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA

The flavor is sort of a hoppy fruit tea. A lot of malt backbone with a decent hop character, both citrus and floral. Medium body that leaves a bittersweet flavor on the tongue. tronraner (1916), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
