Nate (2187), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 15, 2007 On tap at the brewery. Light fresh hoppy aroma. Mild grassy bitterness with the normal ’beaniness’ in the style. Light golden clear with no head. Medium-light watery body with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts with light sweetness followed by good grainy, grassy notes and flavorful floral hops. Great crisp bitterness throughout with mild gassy burn on the tongue. After is clean with mild bittering.
kramer17801 (1846), sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 26, 2006 On tap, at brewpub. Pours a clear light yellow gold with minimal to no head and no visible carbonation. Very minimal aroma, some light pale malt and a light corn scent. Flavor is extremely muddled and finishes with lots of grassy notes and little to no hoppiness. I don’t even really taste the malt at all. A little bit of a plasticy taste emerges late in the finish. Mouthfeel is thin, watery, and fizzy. The finish is actually a little sticky. Overall, no hops, no crispness at all, and all around pretty bad. Could have fooled me that this was a lager.
