Commercial Description:
A shot of hops and malts distinguish our version of this "farmhouse" style beer. A very refreshingly light beer with a smooth finish. Perfect for warm weather quaffing!

Growler, from brewpub. Pours a very dark amber, with a small fizzy off-white head that faded completely. Light lazy carbonation. The nose is pretty decent, very spicy and earthy with some yeast and some dusty grainy wheat. Very spicy flavor up front with some dark malt and wheat, fairly yeasty. The finish is a bit grainy and hard though with just a touch of a vegetal note. Lingering spicy finish. Mouthfeel is a bit thicker and a little clingy for the style, with fizzy moderate carbonation. Overall, decent and drinkable, but it’s a bit heavy and thick for a Saison.

Draft sample at brewpub. Pours orange with rimming, white head. Spicy yeast nose, coriander and orange peel, a touch of caramel. Medium body, rather sweet with some salty notes, yeasty banana and clove, some sweet caramel/honey type thing and mildly dry.

On tap at the brewery. Light spicy nose with coriander and orange peel. A little yeast and light funk. Medium amber clear with thin off-white head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts fairly sweet with a bit of salt, light honey, and a tangy neutral fruity character. Clean finish with light chalky bitterness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a deep amber like good bourbon. Foamy white head with some good lacing. Aroma is a sweet and spicy yeast, some bubblegum and clove. Flavor is spicy clove with a hint of ginger. A little honey that makes this sort of sweet. Body is pretty rich, especially for the style.
