COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Occasional.
First brewed at the beginning of 1999. A single-malt, MOPA and Bramling Cross hops. Massively popular, but we only do it occasionally because we don’t want to spoil you completely. A lovely clean-tasting top-fermented beer with simple yet distinctive flavour reminiscent of a fine Belgian beer. Pastoral apple-peel, grassy.

Clear gold with a dense white head. Aromas are floral, butter and spicy hops. Flavours are intially buttery then grainy with some caramel. Not that impressive until the finish hits - hops heaven, floral and spicy on the tongue. Great for hopheads.

Cask conditioned at The Anchor, Birmingham. Pale gold with white head. Sharp, hoppy, grassy beer, citrus hops with an acidic apple hint. Easy on the palate, good drinking and really quite enjoyable.

not retired any more! (who decides?) almost crystal clear straw, micro foam head which lasted all the way down. decent citric hop aroma for a brit. slightly soapy flavour too, but not bad. gentle bitter finish. cask. old bell. harrogate
