StueyD (1383) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - NOV 2, 2014
A copper coloured beer with a weak white head. A mild yet distinct bready aroma, it might be psychological because of the name! Cereal and malt aromas with hints of caramel. Dry mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma, loads of cereal flavours, especially oats and malt, plus a slightly sweeter biscuity caramel flavour. The finish is malty and smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at the Magpie, mahogany with a thin head and a malty nose with faint red fruit notes. Body is lightly sweet and nutty, with a soft earthy and hedgerow hoppiness. A nice example of the style.

Cask Conditioned Handpump Coach & Horses Wellingborough. A brown beer with a whitish head. A very pleasant session beer with fruity and leafy hops. A touch of nuts and grain. Old fashioned but with extra hopping. A very easy quaffer.
