StueyD (660) - Heacham, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2006
A dark chocolate brown coloured beer with a weak effevescence. A strong, perfumed, tropical fruit nose of lemon, mandarin and lychee, then a faint hoppy aroma. The taste is bitter, slightly sour, again, tropical fruit, lemon, grapefruit, mandarin and lychee, then a dry hop flavour, that is followed by a slightly sweet malt finish. The brewery’s 10th. anniversary celebration brew. Apparently dry hopped and with the addition of maple syrup in the cask (?!?!). (Cask - The Fox & Hounds, Heacham, Norfolk).
