Cask; Status uncertain.
A not-so-evil brew. Pale, golden beer with aromas of berry fruits, citrus and caramel. With the addition of Caramalt and a triple hop arrangement, this beer has a complex yet refreshing palate of caramel, malt, biscuit, grapefruit and bilberries with little underlying bitterness.

Cask at marble beer house, Manchester. Clear gold with thin white head. Aroma citrus, biscuit, peach. Notes of berries, peach, caramel. Well balanced. I had it at 3.3 at the start of the pint but it grew in me!

This hand pulled pint was my second beer from the Abbeydale brewery on the day: even paler than the Deception but very similar in smell and taste, maybe drier and hoppier but not my much. The same citrusy, grapefruity feel to the nose and flavours, with just a hint of the extra alcohol: pleasant but not really my thing.
