A Mes rate. Cask handpull from the Marble Arch.
A straight gold colour with a thin white head Rather wheaty and dull on the nose but the flavour is MUCH better. An excellent bitter with some very juicy yet spicy hops and a lovely malty backbone. Late citrus in the finish lasts and lasts. Lovely stuff.

Cask handpull, The Criterion, Leicester. Ripe nose smacking with orange and gooseberry hops, maybe a dab of Orval. Pale gold and lacy. Green soily hop citrus and earthy malt goodness, greenhouse notes, juicy orange, dry roasted nutty afters. Crisp, spiky and tanging. So good I had another.

Cask, Ship and Mitre, Liverpool. Pissy gold colour with a thin white head. Sweetish aroma of melon/tropical fruit. Flavour had some nicely balanced maltiness, mingling with grassy hop. Some juicy citrus and a slight spiciness there too, leading to a dry gently lingering bitter finish. Quite interesting.
