COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A pale, light ale. Brewed using extravagant amounts of North American hops to give it full flavours and lots of body that make it taste like a much stronger beer. The hops give it a flowery nose and hints of lychees in the flavours.
Matins came about as a consequence of deciding to "brew a beer from muesli," deeming it suitable for the sort of liquid breakfast that ought to find its way onto the set of Red Dwarf or Men Behaving Badly. The inventive grist has long since given way to pure Maris Otter pale malt.

Cask @ The Pub, Leicester. Drinkable session golden ale. Watery oily body with slight sweet taste and slight bitterness to finish. Don't really taste the 'American hops' a lot. Lower abv but nice ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask@GBBF2009. Pale yellowish golden colour, not much head. Aroma is sweet sugary nectar along with wood and some bready malts,. Flavour is quite much the same. Balanced brew, but quite boring.

Cask at GBBF 09. Pale yellow, small froth. Intense fruity aroma. Melons and mellow fruit flavours, a touch of honey. A small guy that achieves a lot.

Cask at The Waters Green Tavern, Macclesfield. Pretty much golden with a medium white head. Citrus and floral flavour and aroma and something not too nice in the finish. Bit weak and watery but it is a little low on the abv so fair play on that score. Not bad but nothing moving me here.

Cask, Lion Tavern, Liverpool. Looks like piss, with a fastly vanishing head. Floral, citrus aroma and flavour. Clean tasing but a bit watery. Dry finish. Not sold on this.
