COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Seasonal - Summer.
Brewed for the first time in the summer of 2006 using a new (to us) aroma hop, Chinook, which is promised to give lemon and grapefruit flavours. Along with some good bitterness from hops in the copper this should be a refreshing summer drink.

Hand pulled at the Pub, Leicester. Golden beer, with no head. Very thin body. Lemony, fast fading hops. Very clean and refreshing. A good, but not massive Golden.

Cask conditioned handpump The Pub Leicester. A golden beer with a loose white head. Really nice hops in the nose. Gooseberry to the fore. Also great hoppy flavours in the mouth, although there’s a weird wet wood note. Super bitterness and great hops. Good.

Cask. Criterion, Leicester. Apple cores and spruce. Hoppy. Caramel malt base. Clear golden amber colour with a medium white head with good lacing. Taste is medium bitterness. Palate is clean and very refreshing with some oiliness. Dryness on the finish.

On draught in the Devonshire Cat, Sheffield. Golden coloured and summery beer. Some lemon flavours but overall not a strong tasting beer. A little insipid when compared against Abbeydale Absolution. Not bad but not good.

Cask, Swan and Rushes, Leicester. Dark gold with an off-white head. Aromas are spicy pine and caramel with floral notes and nice hops. Flavours are sweet and earthy with spicy pine hops. Pretty good.
