COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special - June 2010.
Golden ale. Well balanced smooth and biscuity taste from the use of Munich malt. Fruity hopped bitterness leading to a pleasant aftertaste.

Cask at The Green Man, Stamford, Lincolnshire. Gold with a small white head. Faint malt aroma. Taste has a grainy biscuit background and not much else. Some bitterness. Served warmish. Not the best. Moreover I am puzzled by the picture on the pumpclip which shows a ruined building, presumably an abbey, with a sign saying, ’Exciting development. New worship, drinking and bingo centre.’ What does this mean? Is it a reference to something that has happened in Sheffield?
