Straight from the Cask at The Chesterfield Beer Fest on 04/02/05. Clear golden yellow colour. Country aroma & flavours. Hay & straw. A bit farty though makes it a bit off putting. Wasn’t in the right mood for this one maybe?

Cask (gravity) at Chesterfield CAMRA festival 2005. A grand golden ale, incredibly easy drinking, fresh and fruity to the finish.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Golden, with a dry, planty aroma. Nice, soft, generally. Tasty finish (bitter, fresh hops) which is where the flavour really kicks off. Sweetness in the mouth. Another high quality effort from the masters of the style (though not their best).
