Hand pulled at the Waggon and Horses, Halesowen. Yellow, no head. Smells gently of dusty hop. Rather pleasant golden. Gentle, floral, with some slight sweat in the mouth. Some tropical fruit in the main part of the gob. Dry finish. Drinkable.

Cask, Criterion, Leicester. Pale golden with a white foam. Aromas are lemon with pepper and grapefruit pith. Lightly grassy with underlying pineapple and mango. Woody and yeasty with hints of salt. Flavours are light biscuit malts with plenty of bitter, zesty lemon. Hints of caramel with peppery notes. Grapefruit juice with a dry, pithy, woody finish.

Cask coonditioned at The Rose & Crown, Charlbury, Oxon. Gold with white head. Another good beer from Abbeydale, sharp and hoppy with a grapefruit bitterness balanced with a dry biscuity body. Succulent and refreshing. Lovely.
