Bottle from Local Beer Swap (thanks Maakon!). Almost overpowering smell of honey and some hops in the background. The taste is allot more hop focused with grapefruit and citrus. Strong but round and long bitterness. some caramel and sugar sweetness in the finish. The honey smell is weird but I like the taste on this one.

Bottle. Clear light amber with big cream colored head. Marmalade and lemon rind up front. Caramel, light roasted malts, dried herbs, unripe fruit, cardboard. Medium bodied. Quite nice medium bitter ipa, not very aromatic.

33cl bottle at home. Hazy orange with a medium white soapy head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Nice bitterness with some sweet tones and a dry bitter finish. Pine, grapefruit, malts, some orange and metallic tones. Quite an ok IPA.

Bottle with great thnx to Deanso . Pours rather clear amberblonde . Good, but fast fading white head . Smell is bitter, green , bit harsh, some dry sugar ( not sweet ) Taste is green , bitter . Harshness is remaining, as well as the dry sugar component . Bit vegetable / spicy hopped . Weird .. really dont know what to think here . Not my taste , yet it feels legit ( not a failed brew ) . Perhaps this was brewed more after what a classic, historical IPA was like ? I more like US , aromatic IPA’s though

Glass 25 cl, at Lemmy’s Leiden. Pours orange with a small white head and an aroma of orange, fresh fruits, bitter hops and sweet spices. The taste is mildly sweet and moderately bitter, with a longlasting and heavily bitter finish. Really nice beer!

Stubby bottle 330 ml at home, poured into a tulip glass. ABV 6.5%. The label is similar to the first one, only there are now two hops and of course different dates etc. Deep copper orange colour, crystal clear body. Two fingers of off-white head, with good retention, especially after collapsing to one third of its initial size. Medium thick lacing with spot every here and there around the glass. Much more aromatic from the first one, with notable hop aromas, cookie dough. Taste begins with malts and a sweetness that lasts only for a moment, before it turns to moderate bitter, quite hoppy, with mandarines, a touch of citrus, cookie dough, grapefruit. Much more bitter on the aftertaste, with long duration. Medium body, good carbonation, mildly dry palate. Overall a big improvement from the first one, more than good and with high drinkability.

worldbeertaste (1704) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2014
Last beer in The Hague. Deep nice amber with a think, bubbly, sticky, lacy, off-white head that settles to a soapy ring. Smells of lemon zest, earthy hops, sweet toasted malt and caramel. Medium to full oily body with soft carbonation. Sweet taste of malt on a dry body filled with flowers, grass, and a zesty lingering citrus finish. Bitter. Moderately sweet and very bitter. Enjoyable but a bit disbalanced.
