COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Demanding flavorful and hoppy beers doesn’t make you crazy. Hop Sanatorium is a refreshing, dry and thirst quenching IPA. The aroma is dominated by tropical fruits with hints of citrus and resin to keep it interesting. A firm bitterness in the finish balanced by a soft malt backbone makes Hop Sanatorium a pure delight.

On tap at Øltorget Mathallen, november 9th 2013. Hazy dark orange body, big offwhite head. Aroma of tropical fruits, caramel malt, grass. Taste of sweet caramel, balanced with a solid bitterness from the hops, and layers of peach and pineapple. Pleasant body, and a very well balanced aftertaste of caramel and grass/fruity hops.

Bra Jobbet, anbefales.

On tap @ Henrik. A really cloudy deep orange one with a nice heavy lacing medium sized light beige top. The nose is quite delicate fruity with all sorts of things - some reminding me of having a peach in my mouth, others like smelling malting malts, others again kinda sweet almost a bit like a English caramel and there are even traces of what my nose registries as dried mango and apricots. Yeah, this I can easily like. The beer itself has a soft+ prickling carbonation level and it feels quite thick and oily on the mouth. The flavors are definitely well hopped. Well hopped indeed, with a really piney resinous taste. Unfortunately there is a soft chalky taste here also that’s dragging the whole impression a bit down. It’s also a bit, well, not directly astringent but it definitely drys my mouth a good bit. Ends in a near grassy well balanced finish and a really lasting aftertaste. Yeah, I can drink this again. No problem! 23.08.2013

Small glass, draught at Crowbar. Spotty lacing, not much head, apricot coloured body. Ripe fruity nose joined by a touch of spices. Spiced fruity flavours mixed with a solid impact of caramel malts. Strong bittersweet ending. Heavy to drink, a bit too heavy, I would say (Oslo 02.09.2013).

Draft. An unclear amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of soicy hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, straw, fruits, and herbs, leading to a bitter finish.
